
Endiama, the largest mining and marketing company of Angola, the fourth largest diamond producing country announced to go in setting up an office in Mumbai & to start rough diamonds selling by 2009 to a domestic players of India.
Right now the Endiama is managing to send an official to draw a road map of feasibility of setting up such operational office in this year-2008! Perhaps, the Endiama has taken such interest to start their office in Mumbai during the Mines-to-Market-2, now that announced & followed by the visit of an Indian high powered delegation led by the minister of state for commerce Jairam Ramesh. During the visit Jairam Ramesh discussed the potential ventures with the President, Endiama, Manuel Aranaldo de Sousa Calado & inked MoU.
“The GJEPC will hold negotiations with Endiama in this regard.” Ramesh said to the council to provide related follow-up to Endiama. Founded by GJEPC, DIL (Diamond India Ltd.) proposed Endiama to set up diamond manufacturing center & jewellery crafting facility at Luanda.
